Elementary Ancillary
Becky Kennedy - I am
in my 6th year of teaching after graduating cum laude from
SIUE. Because of my love for art, I have also taught classes
at area art centers to elementary aged children. Before I got
my degree in art education, I started a curriculum based art
program in the Alton, IL school district which earned me the
nickname "ART MOM". After 15 years it is still going
strong. I have one daughter, Emilie, son-in-law, Tom and a
very proud grandma to Tommy and Amelia. When I'm not doing
art, I love to garden, camp, and sit outside under one of my
many trees and read or do cross stitch.

Mae Smith -
Mae H. Smith and I teach Health and
Physical Education. I have one son and I am the youngest of 10
children. I was born in Jefferson City. Mo. and I
have lived in St. Louis for over 25 years. I enjoy
watching and playing most sports . I also enjoy coaching
young ladies in basketball and softball. I have been
teaching for more than 20 years and enjoy it very much and I
am very proud to be a part of this school.
