Michelle Salami - My name is Mrs. Michelle Salami.  I am married. I have my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education. I graduated from Harris Stowe University.   I like to skate, read and travel.  I like my second graders at Imagine-ESM and being a part of the Imagines Family. The thing I like the most about teaching is the growth of my students, academically, and socially.  Imagine is a place where people put aside their differences and work as a team for the improvement of our students.

April Shelton - Hello, I am Mrs. Shelton; I am the second grade lead teacher.  I graduated from Central Methodist University with bachelors in Elementary Education.  This is my fourth year teaching in an urban school.  I worked for a preschool teaching age’s two- prekindergarten.  I also have also written a curriculum for a toddler program.   I am married, I have a cat, and I love to read in spare time.  What I love most about my job as a teacher is getting to see the joy in a child’s eye when they have learned something new.  Our school has so many amazing things to offer!

Jamie Schmidt - My name is Jamie Schmidt and I teach second grade.  This is my first year at ESM; I taught middle school last year in Illinois.  I graduated from Mckendree University, in Lebanon, Illinois.   I grew up the youngest of three girls in Columbia, IL.  I now live in Dupo, IL with my husband, Geoff, and my five-year-old son Devinn.  We enjoy doing anything that involves time together.

Julie Tiller - My name is Julie Tiller, and this is my first year teaching second grade.  I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Culver-Stockton College.  I live in East Alton, Illinois with my new husband and my step-daughter. We love the summer time because we enjoy boating, Cardinals games, and barbequing!  What I enjoy most about teaching is watching the students grow academically throughout the year.

Lorin Schmisseur - I attended University of Missouri Columbia where I received my B.S. in Elementary Education when I graduated in May 2006. I have been teaching  since 2006 and have been here at Imagine Academy of Environmental Science and Math since 2007. I enjoy my job because everyday that I spend as a teacher I help to build the future. It is about more than teaching my students how to multiply or read, it is about teaching them how to be successful in life.

My hobbies include traveling, visiting new places, reading, shopping, relaxing, and playing with my dogs.  I am a huge animal lover and have two dogs of my own, Sophie and Ava. I also enjoy spending time with my nephew and niece, Nathan and Riley.
